Playing her first ITF Pro Circuit tournament since 2012 on Wednesday, Eugenie Bouchard needed three sets to get through her opening round match at the $80,000 Indian Harbour Beach tournament in Florida.

The 23-year-old defeated American qualifier Brianna Morgan 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 to win her first match since the Australian Open in January. She will next face world no. 305 Anhelina Kalinina of Ukraine. Bouchard last played on the ITF circuit more than 4 years ago in Phoenix. This is also her first clay event of 2017.

Aleksandra Wozniak, who is returning from injury, also advanced to the second round in Indian Harbour Beach thanks to a 7-6(3), 6-4 victory over Laura Pigossi of Brazil and will play Olga Govortsova of Belarus, whom she beat in Fed Cup last year, in round two on Thursday.

Centre Court matches are being streamed throughout the week on the USTA Livestream.

Philip Bester, Gabriela Dabrowski, Filip Peliwo, and Brayden Schnur are also battling out on the pro circuit this week.
