JACK GRAHAM – Director Emeritus
Jack Graham, Q.C. is a partner at the Halifax office of McInnes Cooper who practices labour and employment law throughout Atlantic Canada. He is also counsel for several customer contact and technology companies operating throughout Canada. Mr. Graham has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada and by Lexpert as a Leading Labour and Employment Law Practitioner from 2006 until 2014.
Mr. Graham is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, and currently serves as the Vice President of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers, which is the leading management side labour and employment lawyers’ association in Canada.
He has been extensively involved in sport for many years. Mr. Graham served as Chair of Tennis Canada from 2003 to 2006 and played a leading role in revamping its national sport development structure during these years. He also serves on the Board of the International Tennis Federation as the first Canadian ever elected to this worldwide tennis governing body. Mr. Graham is also a member of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) which is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland.
In 2012 and 2013, Mr. Graham’s contributions to sport were recognized by his induction into the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame and by receiving the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for outstanding contribution to Canadian sport from the Canadian Olympic Committee.
In 2014, he was elected as a Governor of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.
