MIKE TEVLIN – Director
Mike Tevlin hails from London, Ontario and attended The University of Western Ontario where he received his HBA from the Richard Ivey Business School in 1981.
Upon graduation from Western, he joined Loblaws Supermarkets and found himself in the food business to stay. In 1989, he and a fellow business school grad founded Give and Go Prepared Foods, which became one of Canada’s leading bakeries and home to the world famous Two-Bite Brownie.
Upon completion of the sale of Give and Go in 2003 and after a year of transitional consulting for the new owners, Mr. Tevlin became involved in a variety of projects including sitting on the Board of a small cutting edge independent private school in Toronto where he chaired a $3.5 million capital campaign to build an addition to the building.
As an avid sportsman (most particularly tennis, golf and fly fishing) and busy entrepreneur, Mr. Tevlin is used to seeing group and individual dynamics from a variety of perspectives. He and his wife Nicole are also philanthropically committed to several causes in Canada most particularly in the fields of health, sport, and education.
