If you’re passionate about tennis in Canada, you’ve likely been inside the Aviva Centre. Home to Rogers Cup and the offices of Tennis Canada and the Ontario Tennis Association, the stadium was built to replace the National Tennis Centre. The main venue holds 12,500 spectators, with 11 smaller outer courts. All twelve courts use a cushioned acrylic surface, the same surface used at the U.S. Open. The venue also includes dining and shopping opportunities. Two creeks and a natural backdrop of wooded lots, a marsh, surround the Aviva Centre and valley lands, which also lead directly to the York University Campus.
