Love may mean nothing in tennis, but it means something when the two themes come together to make a movie. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we’ve gathered the best tennis and love themed films that you can watch with your significant other tonight.

  1. Wimbledon

Come on, admit it, you’ve seen it already. And you know you want to watch it again. Paul Bettany and Kirsten Dunst star as two tennis players who fall in love in the middle of Wimbledon. The relationship elevates his game, but hers, not so much.

  1. Match Point

This Oscar nominated Woody Allen film starring Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Rhys Myers revolves around a tennis instructor working at an upscale club, his wealthy students and of course, a love triangle that turns deadly.

  1. Nobody’s Perfect

This a 90’s college love story between two tennis players. After his relationship with Shelly becomes a distraction and gets him kicked off the men’s team, Steve disguises himself as girl to get on the women’s team so that he can keep playing and get closer to Shelly obviously.

Made in 1979, this movie is about a rising star named Chris who falls in love with Nicole while competing at Wimbledon. The problem is Nicole is already engaged. To a man she doesn’t love.

This 2012 teen comedy sees the number one junior player in the country get injured and discover the teenage life she never got to live, including falling in love for the first time.
