Canada has three juniors ranked inside the Top 10 on the world rankings to start the 2016 season and a total of seven players ranked inside the 50.

Now that the players who graduated to the pros at the end of 2015 have been removed from the rankings, Bianca Andreescu (no. 4), Felix Auger-Aliassime (no. 8), and Charlotte Robillard-Millette (no. 9) are all ranked inside the Top 10. Orange Bowl champion Andreescu is slated to be the top seed at the Australian Open later this month while Auger-Aliassime and Robillard-Millette will be seeded fourth. Perhaps most impressive is the fact that Andreescu and Auger-Aliassime are the top ranked 15 year-olds in the world.

Not far behind are Benjamin Sigouin (no. 23), Denis Shapovalov (no. 26), Katherine Sebov (no. 30), and Jack Mngjie Lin (no. 47).

Our top Canadian juniors will begin their 2016 campaign in two weeks at the Grade 1 Traralgon Junior International the week of January 16 before heading to Melbourne for the Aussie Open.
