Peter Polansky fell in the quarter-finals at the Houghton Boston Tennis Classic in Saskatoon on Friday. The No. 4 seed – and lone Canadian remaining – fell to No. 5 seed Fritz Wolmarans at the $15,000 ITF Pro Circuit Futures event.

The South African defeated Polansky in straight sets 6-4, 7-5. He will face No. 2 seed Matt Reid of Australia in the semifinals on Saturday. Aleksandar Vukic, who upset No. 3 seed Andre Dome in the quarter-finals, will face No. 1 seed Marcos Giron on Saturday.

The $15,000 Saskatoon Futures main draw will take place from July 27 to August 2 at the Riverside Badminton and Tennis Club. The complete draws and results are available here and regular updates will be posted on tenniscanada.com all week.
