Tennis Canada is holding its annual Fan Gala, and you have until December 17 to vote for your favourite moments in Canadian tennis from the past season. What was the most touching event? Who went head-to-head in the match of the year? It’s all up to YOU!

Here are the nominees for Funniest Moment of the Year.

1- Did Félix Auger-Aliassime have it out for a cameraman?

At his very first Rogers Cup in Montreal, Félix was the focus of everyone’s attention, especially this unlucky cameraman’s!

Two matches, same server, same cameraman, same pain!

2- That’s a rap for Denis Shapovalov

After sending Marin Cilic packing from Indian Wells, Denis celebrated his win in an unexpected way.

When asked how he felt about his (musical, not athletic) performance, which was actually something his coach had challenged him to do, Shapovalov said: “I think I was more nervous about the rap than the match, man!”

We were totally unaware of Denis’ inner hip-hop artist. We want more in 2020!

3- Bianca Andreescu finally hears from Drake

Bianca loved reading all the congratulatory messages from celebs that blew up her phone after she won the US Open, but the one person she didn’t hear from was Drake. When she called Drizzy out on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, guess who finally reached out?!

We were thrilled when Bianca told us about their convo at a press conference in Toronto.

So, who do we have to thank for this year’s funniest moment?

Vote now and come right back here for a rundown of the next category of Tennis Canada’s 2019 Fan Gala!
