Montreal’s Rosemarie Asch didn’t just play well at the ITF Super Seniors World Individual Championships in Umag, Croatia this year – she dominated the field.

She went undefeated at the tournament, winning gold in all three events she entered – over-85 women’s singles, over-85 women’s doubles (alongside Hungarian Erzsebet Szentirmay), and over-85 mixed doubles (with fellow Canadian Lorne Main). In total, Asch clinched eight straight matches, all without losing a set.

It was an impressive performance from the Canadian tennis legend, who turned 85 years old just last month and will be going for more gold in 2016.
