Last weekend saw Canadian tennis take another massive step. Led by Denis Shapovalov and Vasek Pospisil, Team Canada made their first Davis Cup final ever. Unfortunately the story did not end with a Cinderella ending but it doesn’t take away from the impact the moment will have done the road.

After an impressive run by Team Canada that ended in a finals lost to Spain, the players went to social media to reflect on the outstanding journey.

Fellow Canadian Bianca Andreescu praised the historic moment.

A big congratulations to Spain for winning this year’s Daivs Cup! Well deserved.

With the tennis season officially done it means award season has begun. At only 18-years-old, Félix Auger-Aliassime put together an impressive year and the tour noticed it nominating him for two awards!

Bianca Andreescu was also nominated for a pair of awards.

Canadian doubles specialist Gaby Dabrowski celebrated American Thanksgiving with a good friend.

American players Sloane Stephens and Madison Keys also celebrated the biggest holiday in the US.

I have a feeling Rafael Nadal really wants this award… The problem is the ATP Finals champion Stefanos Tsitsipas doesn’t believe he will.

Even in the off season Roger Federer is still traveling the world playing tennis, this time for charity.

World No. 4 Simona Halep continues to enjoy her time off.
