It’s officially December, which means tennis off-season training is in full swing. Last week, players were still enjoying their sunny vacations… but now it’s back to work (mostly!) as each of them look to get into shape for the 2019 tennis season.

Genie has been putting on the hard yards on the tennis court, but obviously had to pay tribute to the start of the holiday season. We have a feeling she doesn’t mind the Christmas music that is playing literally everywhere in North America! 🎅

Can Serena make even more history in 2019? Only time will tell, but daughter Olympia and husband Alexis Ohanian are making history as one of the cutest tennis families EVER.

Less than a month ago, Sascha Zverev was pulling off a stunning upset over Novak Djokovic at the Nitto ATP Finals in London. Clearly the off-season has turned these rivals into pals!

We’re not sure it’s gonna catch on, Borna… but your groundstrokes are looking as fluid as ever 😂

Victoria Azarenka has made it no secret that she’s a jack of all trades when it comes to sports, and after trying on some figure skates last week she’s traded her tennis racquet for a baseball bat this week. That world-class backhand makes for a pretty good swing of the bat, eh Vika?

The Toronto Maple Leafs have been on 🔥 this NHL season… can Denis Shapovalov draw inspiration from his favourite team and bring the heat in 2019?

One of the perks of winter in Canada, Naomi: No mosquitos!

Mandatory moment of appreciation for one of the most incredible shots in men’s tennis: the Stan Wawrinka one-handed backhand.

Sure, we’re a few days away from #MotivationMonday, but leave it to Stefanos to bring the sage advice any day of the week.

The 2017 Australian Open champion and the 2018 Australian Open champion are gearing up for the 2019 Australian Open with none other than… each other! I’ll bet even their practice sets are worth of a Grand Slam final.
