Tweets of the week: Azarenka on fire, Milos shares his sleeve

Things are heating up — extremely literally — in Miami, as the hardcourt start to the season is about to give way to the clay. Novak Djokovic continues his stranglehold of the No. 1 position in the ATP, and Serena is still atop the rankings, but beneath that, things have been flipping around quite a bit on the women’s side.

Victoria Azarenka, back in the WTA top five on Monday after making the Miami final, has quite simply been pure fire.

This Vika believer posted this tweet in 2015. #NailedIt

Azarenka’s been on a tear in 2016, beating Serena Williams for the Indian Wells title and practically cruising to the Miami Open finals.

She’s picked up some adorable fans along the way, too.

The much-discussed Nick Kyrgios has hit another milestone in his young career, reaching his first Masters 1000 semifinal in Miami. (Unfortunately for Canadian fans, it came at the expense of Milos! But something tells us we’ll be seeing a lot more matches between the two big servers.)

Not going to lie – I’m extremely interested to see a batch of new tennis kits. Tomas previews his RG look here:

And this fan(?)’s response…

Zebras are amazing, so I’d take it as a compliment. Plus, Ana’s rocking it too.

Toronto Raptors’ Kyle Lowry wore a sleeve the other night. Milos is taking full credit. 😀

It’s already pretty hard to miss Petra Kvitova in a crowd, but she’s taken some extra precautions here…

We’re still waiting on a Vasek Pospisil album…

Is this the German Easter Bunny? Scary.

This is an EXCELLENT question Genie!! Still waiting…

Lucie’s on a road to nowhere. 🙂

The Miami heat was also talked about a lot, and I’m not entirely sure what or where Monica is capturing here, but it looks both super scary and super cool.

Thanks for the spring cleaning reminder, Carol!

So excited he forgot the ‘c’. It happens. Bring on the _lay season!

And finally, Happy April Fool’s Day! Australia did it best:
