The 17-year-old No. 1 seed punched his ticket to the final four with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Kamen Damov. Mingjie Lin’s straight-sets victory sets up a semifinal match-up with fifth-seeded Ivan Mitric of Ontario. Mitric upset No. 3 seed and U18 indoor runner-up Gabriel Champoux 6-4, 6-3 on Wednesday.
