Ranking Eligibility

Ranked players will be required to compete regularly and ensure a minimum number of matches are contested on an annual basis to maintain their ranking privileges. A player that does not play enough to meet the criteria outlined below will forfeit their ranking privileges. If a player does not meet the minimum number of matches stated they will still have a ranking, but will have a star placed beside their name.

  • Adults: Minimum of 10 matches in a 12 month period.
  • Juniors: Minimum of 10 matches in a 12 month period.
An example of a ranking privilege is the allowance of a player to be seeded for an event or not having to qualify based on ranking.

A player will be considered inactive if that player does not compete in at least one match during the time period outlined below:

.

  • Juniors: 9 months
  • Adults: 12 months
Players that are unable to meet these requirements due to injury or other reasons (e.g. playing for a US college), can be identified in the system and the above requirements will be manually disregarded.
