Next Gen stars Denis Shapovalov and Jared Donaldson took to Stadium Court in Delray Beach on Thursday. It was the first meeting between the two up-and-comers and it was Shapovalov who got the better of Donaldson with an emphatic 6-7(6), 6-4, 6-4 comeback win to make the quarterfinals.

But even at 6-6 Shapovalov netted a forehand to give Donaldson set point on serve, which he closed out with an ace.
