Sizing up Canada vs. India ahead of Davis Cup

With a 2018 World Group spot on the line, all eyes turn to Edmonton for the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group play-off tie between Canada and India from September 15-17. It will be the first Davis Cup tie held in Edmonton since 1996.

In an arena that has hosted seven Stanley Cup finals, Northlands Coliseum has transformed its ice rink into a tennis court for the week. It is the second time this year that Team Canada has hosted a Davis Cup tie over a hockey rink – previously TD Place in February for Canada vs. Great Britain.
