No.4 seeds Blajkevitch and Douglas-Miron were outlasted 1-6, 6-1 [10-4].

In girls’ singles, Blajkevitch reached the quarter-finals, falling to No.1 seed and eventual champion Camila Silva of Chile 5-7, 6-2, 7-5. Douglas-Miron and Abanda fell in the third round, while Emma Onila and Laurie Gingras (Beauport, Quebec) were defeated in the second round.
