Tennis Canada's Certification System is part of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), overseen by the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) which is part of Sport Canada.

Tennis Canada is responsible for the overall design of the certification system including the design of content for all levels of certification. As well, Tennis Canada is responsible for ensuring uniform, high quality delivery across the country through the Course Conductor Delivery System. Tennis Canada is directly responsible for the delivery of the Coaching Stream from Coach 2 through 5.

The Provincial Associations are responsible for the delivery of the Instructor and Club Professional Stream of Education including Club Pro 1, 2 and 3.
