Well, it’s official… the tennis off-season is in full swing! With all of 2018’s tour-level tournaments now complete, almost all of your favourite players are officially on holiday.

And “holiday” clearly means different things for different players.

One of our fav tennis power couples, Dominic Thiem and Kiki Mladenovic, travelled to a popular tennis-player-vacation destination of choice: The Maldives.

With the combination of snow and rain that we have been getting here in Canada, we are definitely wishing that we were there. Please take us with you guys next time!

An eclectic group of players are also enjoying the sun in billionaire Richard Branson’s private paradise, Necker Island.

Canadians Genie Bouchard and Daniel Nestor (very rationally) swapped the snow for some sand.

The off-season is a great time to get rid of those awful tennis tan lines, right Genie?

They also took part in what can only be described as the world’s most unique tennis tournament, the Necker Cup. Some of this year’s other attendees included: Caroline Wozniacki, Mike Bryan, Tommy Haas and Bjorn Borg.

Congrats to Daniel, who took home another title to add to his collection. Who says retirement is boring!

And while all of the fun and games are enjoyable, the holiday season is also a great time to get in shape and ready for 2019.

In need of a little workout motivation? Look no further than Canada’s very own Milos Raonic.

He knows better than anyone that hard work = results. Any room left on #TeamMilos?

As for Victoria Azarenka, she decided to try out a new sport, ice skating. And who better to give her her first lesson than pro figure skater and Olympian, Sinead Kerr.

While we commend Vika on her impeccable form, we are questioning her weather preferences…

Winter is great and all, but we don’t need to be asking for more snow.
