Champions crowned at the U14 Outdoor Rogers Junior Nationals

Marko Stakusic of Ontario and Danielle Tuhten British Columbia won the singles titles at the U14 Outdoor Rogers Junior Nationals over the weekend in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec.

In the boys’ singles championship flight, Stakusic defeated David Gauberg of Ontario 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 in the final while Kevin Bence Kovacs finished third.

Tuhten captured the girls’ singles title thanks to a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Marina Stakusic in the championship match. Dasha Plekhanova rounded out the podium with a third place finish.

Marko Stakusic also took home the doubles crown alongside his partner Alex Lu while Marina Stakusic and Plekhanova teamed up to win girls’ doubles title.
