Tennis Canada’s Coaching Development program works in conjunction with the Tennis Professional Associations (TPA). In order to become a qualified coach in Canada, an interested individual needs to become certified. To view a list of certified coaches in Canada, click here.
Once certified, all individuals must then complete on-going professional development throughout their coaching career in order to maintain active status of certification. This along with maintaining membership in the Tennis Professionals Association (TPA) allows individuals to be recognized as an active certified coach in Canada. Tennis Canada and our Provincial Tennis Association work together to deliver the coaching education program which is part of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) under the leadership of the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC).
