Canadian doubles legend Daniel Nestor and partner Dominic Inglot of Great Britain have secured their spot in the Aegon Open final in Nottingham. The second-seeded team trumped Santiago Gonzalez of Mexico and American Scott Lipsky 7-6(4), 6-4 in the semifinals. Nestor and Inglot recorded six aces in Thursday’s contest.

The victory set up the pair’s first appearance in a championship match together, and Nestor’s second final of the year after the Australian Open (with Radek Stepanek). It will also be the second consecutive year that Inglot is featured in the Nottingham final.
The Canadian-British duo await the winner of the draw’s other semifinal of No. 1 seeds Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo versus Austria’s Oliver Marach and Fabrice Martin of France.
