Peter Polansky was crowned champion of the $10,000 ITF Futures title in Tampa Bay, Florida on Sunday.

The Canadian defeated Roberto Quiroz of Columbia 7-5, 6-3 in Sunday’s singles final. Quiroz topped Polansky’s compatriot Philip Bester in the semifinals.

This is Polansky’s first pro title since 2013 and his 14th overall. In March, he won two qualifying matches to earn a spot in main draw of the BNP Paribas Open, the Masters 1000 event in Indian Wells.
