Canadian Adil Shamasdin and his Argentine partner Andres Molteni were crowned champions of the Open de Parc on Saturday, an ATP World Tour 250 event in Lyon, France.
The pair defeated Marcus Daniell and Marcelo Demoliner 6-3, 3-6, 10-5 in the final. The win is Shamasdin’s third career ATP doubles and his first since Casablanca in 2015. The 35-year-old has also captured four champion’s trophies on the ATP Challenger Tour this season.
Shamasdin will now head to Roland-Garros to compete in the second Grand Slam of the year.
