Lorne Main has been playing tennis for more than six and a half decades.

After competing in 11 Grand Slams, and winning the 1954 Monte Carlo Open as an unseeded player, Main was forced to give up tennis – there was no prize money and he had a family to look after.

Returning to the game in the 1980s, Main rediscovered his passion for tennis, becoming arguably the most successful senior tennis player in history.

Learn more about the incredible journeys tennis has taken Lorne on throughout his life in this video below produced by Kraft Project Play for TSN.
