CANADA IS RETURNING TO THE DAVIS CUP FINAL 8

Team Canada is heading back to Malaga for the third year in a row after Canada defeated Great Britain in their final tie of the 2024 Davis Cup Finals Group Stage in September, courtesy of singles victories from Denis Shapovalov and Félix Auger-Aliassime. Canada finished the group stage 3-0, and won Group D. They have drawn Germany in the quarter-finals.

In February during the Qualifiers stage, Team Canada defeated the Republic of Korea 3-1 at IGA Stadium in Montreal to book their place in the Davis Cup Finals for the fifth straight year. Since the Davis Cup format changed in 2019, Canada has participated in the Finals every year.
