Getting out your racquets and playing tennis from May 13-14 is not only fun but it can win you some terrific prizes.
Tennis Day in Canada is the first-ever national festival of tennis designed to promote tennis, encourage participation and showcase to all Canadians how easy and fun it is to get involved. To celebrate the inaugural #TennisDay, Tennis Canada is launching the Tennis Day Photo Contest.
Beginning on Saturday, May 13 at 6:00 a.m. ET, Canadians that hit the tennis courts can upload photos or videos to their Twitter and Instagram accounts along with the hashtag #TennisDay. Each photo and video is equal to one entry. The more you post, the more entries you have and the greater chance you have at winning the grand prize!
The photos can come at your local courts or one of the many participating tennis clubs. Over 160 clubs are involved in the Tennis Day weekend festivities. To view the full list and find out where to play, click here.
The contest will end on Sunday, May 14 at 11:59 p.m. ET. No entries will be accepted beyond that time. A random draw will take place on Monday, May 15 to determine the winner. That recipient will be contacted through the social platform in which they shared their photos and/or videos for further information on their prize.
The grand prize up for grabs is four (4) tickets to attend opening night of the Rogers Cup in Toronto or Montreal on Monday, August 7, 2017. The prize includes four (4) roundtrip flight tickets, if required, for the winner and his/her guests or parent/legal guardian to Toronto or Montreal and one (1) night’s accommodation in a Toronto or Montreal hotel.
