This week on Match Point Canada, Ben and Mike wrap up all the action from the US Open in New York at the final Grand Slam of 2023.

They discuss an incredible first Major title for Coco Gauff, who has lit up the WTA all summer long. The hosts also take a deep dive into Gaby Dabrowski’s first-ever women’s doubles Slam title that she picked up alongside Canadian/Kiwi Erin Routliffe.

Respected tennis announcer Mike Cation returns for his second visit of the year on the podcast to share his insight from covering the tournament including broadcasting the men’s final for US Open Radio where Novak Djokovic captured a jaw-dropping 24th Major championship.

Cation speaks at length about the strong showing from American men and women at the Open this year but also talked positively about Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime and how confident he is that FAA will bounce back strong from his recent struggles.
