Tennis Canada is responsible for the training, certification, designation, and evaluation of all tennis officials in Canada. Officials are essential to the hosting of tournaments across the country. Whether you're looking to join the officiating ranks or are already working events, this is your one-stop shop to expand your knowledge about an exciting profession that is a great way to stay involved in a sport we love.
The Tennis Canada officiating program includes more than 200 officials across the country working at the provincial, national, and international levels.
We work closely with the Provincial and Territorial Tennis Associations in the training, coordination, and assignment of officials in each province and territory.
We acknowledge the work of our officials with four different awards that are handed out annually: Officiating Excellence Award, On-Court Official Award, Off-Court Official Award, Rookie Official.
Tennis Canada Officiating Department have assigned Provincial Representatives in each province. Their role is to support officials locally, mentor and train them.
