A Golden Era for Team Canada in Davis Cup

Canada has become one of the top nations in Davis Cup, the premier international team event showcasing men's tennis, thanks to a historic first title in 2022. World Champions

Canada captured its first Davis Cup crown in 2022 after defeating Australia 2-0 in the final with Félix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov leading the charge. This monumental accomplishment allowed Canada to become only the 16th nation to win the prestigious event.

Nestor's Dominance

The legendary Daniel Nestor holds the Canadian Davis Cup records for most total wins (48), most doubles wins (33), most ties played (53), and most years played (25).

Canada Stands Alone Atop the Tennis World

In November 2023, Canada became just the sixth nation to simultaneously hold both the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup titles. Both Canadian men's and women's teams were also ranked No. 1 at the same time in the event rankings.

Prize Money Milestone

Canada’s 2022 Davis Cup triumph came with a record payout, further underlining the growth and prestige of the tournament on the international tennis scene.
