Andy Murray screams in celebration after winning a point at Wimbledon

Sir Andy Murray, the one who made all of Great Britain smile again at Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016, is back. Honestly, how can you not love him, the guy is a gem!

And, no better guy to play him in the next round than the one who didn’t even realized he had won until the chair umpire called Game, Set, Match. 😂

Vintage Murray shots, just to bring us that extra happiness knowing he’s fully back!

Seriously, how can anyone not like him? Look at Kim’s reaction when Andy said he went to the toilet!

Of course, his inspiring run came to an end at the hands of Denis Shapovalov, but it was nothing short of historical. Welcome back, Andy.

Serena Williams’s tragedy

Now, Wimbledon has definitely brought some mixed emotions right on the first rounds. Of course that Andy and Federer with consecutive wins was great, but Serena Williams’ fate was nothing short of tragic.

Because of slippery conditions, the seven-time champion hurt her ankle just barely after the first set started. 😭

The bright side of the story is that Aliaksandra Sasnovich, who advanced to the second round after Serena Retired, is essentially a ray of sunshine. She carries on the Williams will in Wimbledon!

Although, yes, it did take a moment to release all the emotions after the shocking end of the match…

Suarez Navarro’s farewell

Another mixed-feelings event was Suarez-Navarro’s last match at Wimbledon. It was such a good match against Ash Barty, who was just a class-act in that match. Best of luck to Carla, who will actually compete in Tokyo!!

Wimbledon’s best shots from week 1

And as week 1 of Wimbledon comes close to an end, I found it fitting to have some of the best shots on the beautiful Londonian grass. How I’ve missed this! 😎
