Just in case you missed it… the Toronto Raptors won the NBA championship on Thursday night! Something that didn’t go unnoticed by our Canadian tennis players on social media.

Genie Bouchard was at Game 5 in Toronto and decided to make the trip to Oakland for Game 6. A great decision on her part, since she got to witness “history in Canada baby!”

Milos Raonic gave a shout out to his fellow New Balance ambassador and NBA Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard! No need to use words, emojis are way better.

This team brought a country together. Vasek Pospisil, like everyone else, really wants Kawhi Leonard to stay with the Raps to go after another title.

Kawhi Leonard ended the Raptors’ 24-year title drought and because of that, Sharon Fichman thinks there’ll be many more Kawhis running around very soon .

Kyle Lowry has been with the Raptors for seven years and of course, he went through his fair share of ups and downs. All the work paid off though and his interview afterwards really hit home with Nicaise Muamba.
