Unless you were living under a rock, you should know Bianca Andreescu became the first Canadian singles player to advance to a US Open final!

The social media world erupted after the historic win. Here are some of the many reactions.

All I have to say is #SheTheNorth.

The Prime Minister Justin Trudeau went to Twitter to express his and the country’s support for the 19 year old from Mississauga.

Canadian legend and basketball hall-of-famer Steve Nash kept it short and sweet during Andreescu’s semi-final match against Belinda Bencic Thursday night.

The US Open final will be a rematch of the Rogers Cup final between Andreescu and Serena Williams.

The G.O.A.T isn’t just a fan of the Canadian’s game, but also – perhaps more importantly – the person.

Just in case you forget, this is why Serena respects the 19 year old so much.

Andreescu is already inspiring other athletes, such as basketball star Kia Nurse.

The legendary Billie Jean King knows how good Bianca is.

A perfect way to motivate oneself – and it paid off for the current World No. 15, who will crack the Top 10 next week regardless of the result in the final.

Pretty insane to think Bianca wasn’t even born when Serena captured her first Grand Slam title in 1999.

From World No. 152 to the Top 10! Andreescu’s reaction was amazing.

This historic run has even inspirited hockey players on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
