On the boys’ side, surprise finalist Hans Deng of Ontario overpowered Adam Faragcao (3) of Alberta in three sets (6-2, 4-6, 6-2). Deng was dominant all week, dropping only two sets to secure the title. On his way to the final, he eliminated Eiji Fujita (13) of Ontario. But Faragcao didn’t go home empty-handed: he claimed the doubles prize with Edward Kruppe of Ontario after prevailing over the favourites in the semifinals.

On the girls’ side, Sara Kostic (2) of Alberta was crowned champion. In the final battle between the top two seeds, she defeated Emma si yu Dong (1) of British Columbia in two sets (6-2, 6-2). Both young players had perfect runs to final. In doubles, Emma si yu Dong and her partner Havana Kadi ousted favourites Waverly Potter and Kostic in the semifinals to earn the title.
