ENGLAND – JULY 01: plays a backhand in his men’s Singles first round match against during Day one of The Championships – Wimbledon 2019 at All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on July 01
We’re in the home stretch of the Asian swing and one particular Canadian made a bit of noise this week and is starting to look like his old self once again.
Here’s the latest buzz on social media.
Last week, Bianca Andreescu’s impressive 17-match winning streak came to an end in the China Open quarter-finals against eventual champion Naomi Osaka. This week, the Canadian made sure to stop by the Great Wall!
What a run for Vasek Pospisil at the Shanghai Masters.
The 29 year old won two matches to qualify for the second-last Masters 1000 of the season, then followed it up with two wins in the main draw to make it to the Round of 16.
I guess the snapping worked.
Canadians Gaby Dabrowski and Andreescu have also qualified for the WTA Finals in doubles and singles, respectively. The pair already has their photo game down!
