ENGLAND – JULY 01: plays a backhand in his men’s Singles first round match against during Day one of The Championships – Wimbledon 2019 at All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on July 01

It was Canada Day, the 4th of July AND Wimbledon this week, so obviously there was quite a bit of buzzy action from players across social media. Here’s the best of the best.

Vasek Pospisil made his eight month return from back surgery on Canada Day. Oddly enough, his first-round opponent at Wimbledon was fellow Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime. Pospisil ultimately fell in four sets.

Genie Bouchard is right – it’s great to be Canadian!

Bianca Andreescu used an amazing photo from Fed Cup to celebrate the occasion.

For Auger-Aliassime, the match with Pospisil was an experience he will never forget – especially since it was on Canada Day!

Staying on the Canada-is-great train, Gaby Dabrowski explained why she loves the country so much.

Milos Raonic seems to be in his natural environment at Wimbledon. The 2016 Wimbledon finalist has made the quarter-finals in four of the last five years and he’s on the right track to do it again.

ANOTHER GAME FOR MILOS! Click here if you don’t know what I’m referring too.

Nick Kyrgios is doing what he does best at Wimbledon… entertaining everyone. The following speaks for itself:

History continues to be made by Coco Gauff. The 15 year old won all her qualifying matches and is off to the fourth round at Wimbledon. Here’s a cute moment when Gauff met a fan after her second-round victory…

Way back in 2010, Federer and Nadal attempted to film a commercial for a charity exhibition match… and it was a giggly affair.

Can’t wait to see how the commercial shoot goes for the next charity exhibition match in Cape Town, South Africa in 2020!

Who’s excited to see Serena Williams and Andy Murray team up for mix doubles at Wimbledon next week?

Johanna Konta is really enjoying herself at Wimbledon in front of her home crowd. The amicable Brit is attempting to duplicate her result from 2017, where she made the semi-finals.
