World No. 1, reigning Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon champion, and tied at most major titles with Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
But the Olympic gold is still out of reach for Novak Djokovic. The Serb lost in both semifinals in singles and mixed doubles, and can only get a bronze medal, which he also won in 2008.
Tough luck, champ!
The loss also means Steffi Graf still remains the only human being to ever win all the slams and the gold medal in the same year, in 1988.
But I am sure he will still look at these Olympic games fondly! Look at all the crazy memories he made there, plus he still has a shot at the bronze medal this weekend against Pablo Carreño Busta.
It may seem less grand, but I would love me any Olympic medal if I do say so myself. Guess I’ll have to stay with video games though 😂

No wonder, you get to spend so much time with the best of the best in so many sports from your country. It’s a huge party, really.
King Richard – the Venus and Serena Williams movie
How’s that for some hot tennis news?? I did not know this movie was coming up this soon!
Absolutely can’t miss this 😮
Oh for sure, Billie Jean. For. Sure.
