Tennis is one of, if not the biggest women’s professional sport on the planet.

While women’s tennis is a success story in the world of sport, it has hardly been an easy road and there is still progress that needs to be made in terms of equality and emphasizing the role of women in the game.

In honour of International Women’s Day, Tennis Canada brought together a group of extraordinary women from the world of Canadian tennis to discuss their experiences in the sport, the roles women have played in their careers, and where they would like to see the game go as we strive towards full equality.

In Toronto, we were joined by Bianca Andreescu, Sharon Fichman, Vanessa Webb, Jennifer Bishop and Caroline Cameron.

For a conversation in French in Montreal, hear what Marie-Ève Pelletier, Aleksandra Wozniak, Andréanne Martin, Séverine Tamborero and Valérie Tétreault had to say.
