Auger-Aliassime got off to a hot start, getting an important break point in just the third game of the set. Pressuring Tsitsipas from the baseline, the young Canadian fired winner after winner, eventually sealing the opening set. The youngster continued his dominance against the Australian Open semi-finalist in the second. He notably won 81% of his first service points, saving all seven break points that he faced as well as breaking his opponent’s serve on three occasions. He won 61 points compared to just 45 for Tsitsipas.
