For the first time, a singles main-draw wild card to the NBO will be awarded to the Canadian man and woman who have accumulated the most points in the national events preceding Canada’s premier international tennis tournament.
The loss means the Canada will play in the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup Playoffs this November for the chance to contest the Qualifiers next year. A draw at a later date will determine Canada’s adversaries in the three-day event featuring a round-robin format.
