Simon Bartram joins Tennis Canada’s High Performance Team as Head of Toronto’s Regional Tennis Centre

On July 17, 2025, Simon Bartram was announced as the Head of the Regional Tennis Centre in Toronto. 

A former ATP player, Bartram joins Tennis Canada’s High Performance Team, bringing more than three decades of coaching experience – ranging from an amateur to professional level – which includes developing the likes of Sharon Fichman and Katherine Sebov.

Bartram’s extensive experience and outstanding track record in high-performance coaching and player development have been recognized by Tennis Canada, earning honours such as Coach of the Year, Tennis Professional of the Year, Course Facilitator of the Year, and the TPA Excellence Award.

Remaining in his current position as Director of Tennis at the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club until he officially begins his new role on September 1, 2025, Bartram’s certifications include Level 4 Coach and Club Pro 3.

With Tennis Canada, Bartram will carry on his passion for developing talent and play a crucial part in tailoring the future of Canadian tennis.
