Tennis Canada announced on Thursday the 2024 recipients of the High Performance Recognition Program, a strategic initiative designed to reward key areas that contribute to the development of a strong high-performance pipeline in Canada. The program was introduced in 2023, replacing the former Tennis Development Centre Program.
“We would like to congratulate this year's recipients and thank them for their ongoing efforts in providing exceptional support to players across Canada,” said Jocelyn Robichaud, Head of U15 Development at Tennis Canada. “The High Performance Recognition Program represents an important investment in the future of Canadian tennis, with the goal of establishing the best professional players over the long term and maximizing everyone’s potential.”
The High Performance Recognition Program consists of five core pillars – Hosting Competitions, WPDP Training Environment, Player Results, National Bank Little Aces, and Coach Results – offering recognition and funding to clubs, players, and coaches across the Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels.
