This week on Match Point Canada, Ben and Mike welcome Vivek Jacob of CBC Sports and Raptors.com to break down all the clay court action at the French Open. Vivek grew up a Novak Djokovic fan before he came over to the media side of things, so he recollects some of his memories of Novak’s rise to greatness and how he still appreciates what the 23-time Slam champion brings to the table at the age of 36.

The hosts discuss Iga Swiatek’s third Roland-Garros title as well with Vivek and marvel at her continued domination on the clay when it matters the most. Also discussed at length this week on the women’s tour is the incredible tennis produced in women’s doubles from Leylah Annie Fernandez and in mixed doubles as well from Bianca Andreescu as both players made the finals in their respective draws.

After speaking with Vivek, Ben and Mike discuss strong performances from Casper Ruud and Karolina Muchova and they also look ahead to the grass court season with the return of our very own Milos Raonic who is playing his first ATP event in nearly two years at the Libema Open in s’Hertogenbosch this week!
