This week on Match Point Canada, Ben and Mike welcome tennis writer and podcaster Amy Lundy Dahl to preview the action at Wimbledon.

While recording the latest episode, Amy and Mike realized that they both became tennis fans while watching Boris Becker dive across the lawns of Wimbledon when they were kids! Who was your favourite childhood hero at the All-England Club?

Amy helps the guys break down the draws as the tournament begins. She talks about why the surface itself will be more of a factor on the women’s side of things where she boldly labels two-time champion Petra Kvitova as her favourite player this year.

While things seem more predictable on the men’s side with Novak Djokovic seeking his eighth Wimbledon title, Amy does discuss which other players could have a strong tournament and mentions the likes of Frances Tiafoe, while Ben sees Roberto Bautista Agut as an outside possibility to go deep as well.
