Tennis Canada today announced the 2025 recipients of the High Performance Recognition Program, an initiative designed to recognize those who create optimal conditions for player development and performance, thereby strengthening the competitive pathway in Canada. Launched in 2023, the program replaced the former Tennis Development Centre Program and continues to support the growth of the next generation of Canadian talent.
“We are proud to recognize this year’s recipients and the important role they play in developing high-performance tennis in Canada,” said Jocelyn Robichaud, Head of U15 Development at Tennis Canada. “By supporting clubs that deliver quality training environments and meaningful competitive opportunities, the program helps strengthen the competitive pathway for Canadian players and fosters long-term success on the international stage.”
The High Performance Recognition Program focuses on five key pillars, including Hosting Competitions and Whole Player Development Pathway (WPDP) Training Environment. In 2025, 17 clubs received funding for meeting the program’s criteria across these pillars.
