Canadian tennis’ next generation has the chance to shine at the M15 Trois-Rivières, while looking to gain some early ground in the men’s Road to the NBO race.

Seven of the 12 Canadians in the field are under 20-years-old, including four members of the National Tennis Centre presented by Rogers class of 2026-27. Andy Tchinda Kepche and Antoine Généreux both play seeds in round one, facing off against Oskar Brostrom Poulsen of Denmark [3] and Evan Bynoe of the United States [4], respectively.

Antoine Clavel had the most fortunate draw out of his peers as the Lavallois meets French qualifier Tiago Pires in his opening match, with the winner battling either Tchinda Kepche or Brostrom Poulsen in round two.

Caden Colburne played in the lone main-draw match on Monday and was defeated by Romain Gales of France.

Mikael Arseneault enters as the only seeded Canadian in the singles draw. The 19-year-old from Richmond Hill looks to follow in her sister Ariana’s footsteps, making back-to-back semifinals in Quebec last month. Arseneault opens the event against American Marko Mesarovic.

Joshua Peck and Félix Roussel meet in the only all-Canadian clash in round one. Peck is the oldest Canuck in the field at 27.

The singles top seed is Louis Wessels of Germany, who is looking for a career-best third World Tennis title of the year. Daniel de Jonge of the Netherlands is the second seed, opening against Canadian Jaden Weekes.

In doubles, the host nation is led by Peck and Benjamin Thomas George, with the third seeds facing compatriots Colburne and Généreux in round one.

The titles will be handed out on Nov. 8, prior to the start of the M25 Montreal.
