What does tennis mean to you?

To me tennis is much more than just a sport, it's a passion, a career and a source of personal growth. To me tennis means sharing my love for the sport to the people I teach and also bonding with people that have the same passion. Tennis has given me a sense of security in my life and it has taught me work ethic and growth.

Why did you choose to become a GSE Regional Ambassador?

I’m always open to new opportunities, and this one just felt like a no-brainer. It’s such a great chance to connect with like-minded people across the country and build relationships with women who share the same passion for growing tennis and supporting girls and women in sport. I’m really excited about the opportunity to help grow the community and have a positive impact on female coaches and players nationwide.

What does your life look like outside of the GSE Regional Ambassador Role?

I coach all around BC, but currently mainly in two locations, Abbotsford Tennis Club and the Langley Tennis Centre. Within these two roles, I coach roughly 30 hours per week, working with kids and adults of all ages and levels. I also have the pleasure of working for Tennis BC part-time as a Regional Program Coordinator for the Fraser Valley. On top of this, I am starting a printing business that will hopefully be involved in tennis and creating personalized items for other tennis related businesses.
