Michelle Yu is an Emmy Award-winning reporter, anchor, and host who has spent her entire broadcasting career working in New York City. With more than a decade of experience covering breaking news, sports, and financial markets, she is currently an anchor at Asset TV, a leading digital television platform for investment professionals. Previously, Michelle served as an anchor for Law & Crime Network and spent 10 years as an anchor and reporter at SportsNet New York, home of the New York Mets. She began her broadcasting career at NY1 News, reporting across New York City’s five boroughs. Michelle is recognized as the first Asian female sportscaster in New York City and has built a career bringing clarity, energy, and perspective to live events, interviews, and on-air storytelling. She is also a published author, having co-authored two novels, China Dolls and Young, Restless and Broke.
