Nathalie Cook has led the way for women in sport as one of the first women to lead a sports network in North America. She oversaw a broad portfolio of multimedia sports assets for TSN and RDS and was instrumental in making NBA history with the Toronto Raptors first all-female broadcast crew to call the game against the Denver Nuggets.
Previously, she was part of the leadership team delivering the 2010 and 2012 Olympics for the Olympic Broadcast Media consortium; was a key revenue driver through creative partnerships; and has been an advocate of gender equity in sport most recently as past Chair of Canadian Women and Sports (CWS) advisory group. During her tenure they issued 2 significant reports; It’s Time: Unlocking the Power of Pro Women’s Sport Fans, that showed that more than 17 million Canadian consider themselves fans of women’s sport as well as the 2023 It's Time report that showed that Women’s professional sport was ripe for investment.
A bilingual, Montreal native and recently retired from corporate life Nathalie worked as a Strategic advisor to Project 8/Northern Super League and is now executive producer for the documentary that will chronicle the launch of Canada’s first professional women’s soccer league.
The UNMATCHED Conference presented by Tennis Canada and National Bank provides a space for established and emerging leaders of all genders, from within, and outside of sport to be challenged and inspired to make equity a priority and action long-term change within their communities.
