What does tennis mean to you?

Tennis is more than just a sport to me, it is part of my identity and has formed me and made me the person I am today. It represents years of discipline, from my 15 years as a player to competing for the University of Montreal. Beyond the court, tennis is my way to give back to the community and use my leadership skills as a coach and program director to mentor others and share my passion.

Why did you choose to become a GSE Regional Ambassador?

I chose to become a GSE Regional Ambassador because I want to use my leadership and passion to get more women in tennis and keep making tennis more equitable for the community. I hope to do so by increasing and improving the Girl.Set.Equity ressources and events available.

What does your life look like outside fo the GSE Regional Ambassador Role?

I am currently a full-time Civil Engineering student at Polytechnique Montréal and student-athlete for the University of Montreal Carabins. Besides my studies, I am the Director of the Junior Program at the Club de tennis de l'Île-Bizard and a course facilitator for the GSE Leadership Program and the Instructor’s course for Tennis Canada and Tennis Québec.
